Dandasana / Staff Pose

How to perform Staff pose / Dandasana :

  • Sit with your legs are straight and foot are together
  • Place your hands on the ground at the sides of the body
  • Hand fingers are pointing forward
Things to remember 
  • Breathe normally
  • Make sure your concentration on the asana
Benefits :
  • Stretches the foot and legs
  • Stretches the chest and shoulders
  • Stretches the back muscles
  • It relaxes the body and mind
  • It also prepares for doing other pose
